About May 28, 96 classic cars left Beijing to have an epic race that will take them right to Paris. It's the sixth Peking to Paris Motor Obstacle, one of the planet's most challenging rally races. The cars throughout competition are rarely seen with roads today, and span from the 1913 Ford Model T to your 1982 Renault 4.
They're getting driven by teams of a couple, who hail from 26 countries and include of spouses, parents and kids, and siblings. Some are doing the work just for fun, while others are raising money for charitable trust (causes include environmental conservation as well as brain research).
Seven cars were forced to drop out from the first week, but the rest are going to reach Paris by June twenty nine. Standing between them and the goal are 7, 500 kilometers of deserts, mountains, gravel as well as dirt roads, through China, Mongolia, Russian federation, Ukraine, Switzerland, France, and far more.
